What Deaf Help India does
Deaf Help India brings everyday communication support into one place. You can show ready-made messages to a hearing person, prepare for a hospital visit, turn speech into live captions, learn Indian Sign Language, find Deaf-friendly jobs, follow Deaf sports, and reach community organizations. Emergency Help, Hospital Help and the accessibility tools are open to everyone with no account. Live Caption, Quick Talk, ISL, Learn, Jobs, News and Interpreter Connect need a free account.
Designed for Deaf users first
Every feature works without sound. Nothing important is communicated by audio alone, no audio plays automatically, and text stays large and readable on a phone.
Nothing happens without you
Emergency tools never call or message anyone on their own. You confirm an action, review exactly what it will do, and stay in control at every step.
Built with the community
Jobs, community resources, sign language lessons and sports coverage are published by Deaf Help India and community partners, not scraped or automated.
Accessibility statement
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. That means strong colour contrast, full keyboard navigation with visible focus, semantic headings and landmarks, large tap targets, form labels and clear error messages, captions or transcripts for video, and respect for reduced-motion settings. Status is never shown by colour alone. You can change caption text size, high contrast and vibration alerts on the Profile page.
If something on this site is difficult to use, please tell us. Access problems are treated as bugs, not requests.

Deaf Help India is a communication aid. It does not provide medical advice, legal advice or emergency dispatch, and it does not book interpreters or guarantee their availability. In an emergency, always contact the official emergency services in your area.
